Meet Agi who has started as our new cheder head teacher this September.

On 30 July we hosted an evening of comedy and chat with award winning comedian, director, writer and speaker Rachel Creegar.

Bromley Reform Synagogue joined with venues across the country to celebrate Jewish Culture Month. We ran a free art exhibition in June.

On 7 May, as part of our L’Chaim programme, we enjoyed An Audience with Howard Jacobson (in conversation with Rabbi Laura and the shul’s book club chair, Judy Woolfe).

Our synagogue member Vicki Ashmore was recently featured in The Jewish Chronicle for her work in founding DeafShul, an initiative to make Jewish services and resources accessible for people using British Sign Language (BSL).

We offer learning opportunities for all ages – from the gan (nursery), through cheder up to adult learning.

People join our services for many reasons. Some come to pray to God. Others come to explore Jewish tradition. Many enjoy the cultural and social connection that the service creates.

Our approach to religion is in the British progressive tradition – we are open minded and thoughtful, rooted in our history but mindful of the times in which we live.

We offer a very wide range of activities including our cheder and gan (nursery), social events for all ages, youth activities and a social centre for senior members of the community.

We provide a fully developed and supported programme for all the key Jewish life events, rituals, ceremonies and services.
