Linda de Lange

Linda became the chair of BRS in 2024 and is enjoying being fully immersed in such a warm, welcoming and active community.
She is a proud Glaswegian who moved to London to work in theatre administration. She and her husband Matthew joined BRS in 1985. She has been, at various times, a BRS cheder teacher, head teacher, gan facilitator and coordinator of the social centre. She and Matthew have four sons and while parenting and working part-time she gained a BA in Humanities and an MA in Religious Education.
In her 50s she retrained and became an antenatal teacher running classes in the community and a women’s prison. Although officially retired she continues to provide birth and post natal support for vulnerable women through the charity Birth Companions.
