Dr Anthony Seldon,MA,PhD,FRSA,PGCE,MBA,FRHistS, is Master of Wellington College, an educationalist and an authority on contemporary British history.He is a very busy man, a renowned speaker, appearing frequently in the media and we are very lucky that, as a former member of our synagogue, he has agreed to give one of our Jubilee talks. We are doubly fortunate as Dr Seldon has just announced his retirement, so that he can care for his wife Joanna who is terminally ill.

He wrote to us: “ “Pleasure, Happiness, Bliss” is the title of my talk.  In lieu of description, I would like all coming to it to reflect on what these words mean to them. You will gain far more from the talk by doing so.  My book on the subject is being published next year and draws heavily on my experience in launching “Action for Happiness”in 2011 with Lord Layard and Geoff Mulgan.
