Maimonides was a medieval Spanish-Egyptian rabbi, philosopher and physician.  A prolific writer, Maimonides wrote that Judaism at its best was a reasonable, rational faith.  He was dismissive of attempts to turn religion into superstitious belief, believing that religion at its best was intellectually honest and compelling.  Join us for a one hour exploration and discussion of some of his legal and philosophical writings.
