Race Nigh - 27 November
Please note the new date for the BRS Race Night: Saturday 27 November. All the thrills and spills of the real thing, in the safety of the garden room. Look out for details of how and where to book nearer the time.
High Holydays are coming!
They are very early this year, and services will as usual be held not in the synagogue building but in Orpington. If you need details please call the office on 020 8460 5460 as soon as possible. Tickets will be issued as normal.
Cheder End of Year Fun
A large and lively group of cheder children, along with their families, friends and parents, enjoyed a fun event on the final day.

In lovely Orpington with my husband Kieron.
What are your interests and hobbies?
Going to the theatre, walking, reading autobiographies, socialising.
What is the nature of your current or previous employment?
Associate Director at London Bubble Theatre Company. We are a community theatre company that is driven by the belief that theatre can be made with and for everyone. You can check out the website on www.londonbubble.org.uk.
Are there any skills or interests you would be interested in participating in with other members?
I am trying to find space in my hectic diary to attend the regular Jewish film screening at Bromley. The films sound fantastic!
Family members?
Bromley Shul members who are also related to me include my husband, Kieron Hyams, and Deanne Beevers is my second cousin.
Is there any other information you would like to share with members?
We have just moved into a house with a big overgrown garden, so if any of the members have green fingers and can give me some advice on how to tame it, I would be forever grateful!
